Joshua Rupley was asked by the city of Aichach, Germany to found a new concert series for Classical music in the historic Sisi-Schloss, the childhood home of Empress Elisabeth of Austria (1837-1898).
The Kultursalon Aichach is designed around the idea of 18th- and 19th-century European salons, which were fertile soil for the development of the revolutionary ideas that made European society what it is today.
The concerts are moderated by Joshua Rupley. For the year 2025, the concerts are all scheduled with German Lieder, sung by students from the Leopold Mozart College of Music at the University of Augsburg.
